Below the base, numbered 175 and stamped with two N's (chaser's and assembler's marks)
Foundry of very fine quality, dating from the end of the 19th century.
The base is finely chased with orientalist motifs. The base is finely chiselled with oriental motifs. A descriptive plaque has disappeared and the mounting holes have been plugged.
Very good original condition.
