Deville-chabrolle Marie-paule, "the Beautiful Flight" Bronze
Marie-Paule Deville Chabrolle, a French sculptor and painter, was born in Morocco in 1952. She studied at the Beaux-Arts in Pau and at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She gained diverse artistic experience in Chad, Morocco, and India. She exhibited at the Salon d’Automne in Paris in 1992 and 1993. In 2000, she was chosen to create a statue of Marianne modeled after Laetitia Casta. In 2004, Daum took an interest in her work, and her pieces were included in their Éditions d’art collection.
The work we are presenting was purchased for €15,500 at the Galerie de l’Alpage in Courchevel in 2003. Purchase invoice provided.
