Empire Lion-head Office Chair
Rare Empire period desk armchair in solid mahogany , resting on four saber feet terminated by ormolu claws.
The curved backrest and armrests are adorned with remarkable, finely carved lion heads, typical of the Empire style of the early 19th century. The wide seat is upholstered in a velvet fabric, highlighted by a semiset of brass studs.
