A very similar model of lamps in gilt brass — featuring a cream-colored shade and a telescopic arm — designed by Maison Meilleur, was made famous by Hubert de Givenchy, who chose it for several of his interiors, most notably that of the Hôtel d'Orrouer, Paris. Shades with some staining.
