The third work I propose by Claudio Castelucho e Diana from the series of landscapes painted in Vichy, signed lower left. Here, the river is animated and the painter, on the back of the work, indicates that he is showing us the golf train in the distance, and the golf service boat in the foreground.
Here, the brushstroke is always lively, and we sense the spontaneity of the brush. The predominantly blue palette plays on the juxtaposition of nuances and the capture of light that is so characteristic of Castelucho's work. There's action in this landscape, and you can feel the speed of the boat, a red dot, in the swirling water.
This painting has recently been soberly framed.
