Pair Of Art Deco Console Tables
Artist: De Coene Frères
Original pair of tables or display consoles made in Belgium by "Maison De Coene Frères" in Courtrai circa 1920.
They come from the brasserie-restaurant of an early 20th-century hotel located in Ostend on the Belgian coast.
One of the two bears the publisher's aux stamp under the top.
They are made of solid white-lacquered beech.
A small, refined detail, the base of the leg is trimmed with an original nickel-plated metal plinth that has been repolished.
They have been repainted identically in satin cream white.
They are well stable, decorative and original.
They can be used as bistro tables, sofa ends, bedside tables or as small display consoles.
In short, a lot of practical and decorative fun for an affordable price.
