Bosse Cour Au Dindon- Hst By Gaston Jobbé-duval
Gaston Jobbé-Duval was born in Rennes. In his native city, he painted decorations for private mansions and the town hall's salle des fêtes, as well as the foyer of the opera house.
In Paris, where he lived mainly, he taught at the Saint Louis de Gonzague and the Collège Notre- Dame.
Since 1906, he has been a member of the Artistes Français and has taken part in this group's Salons.
The oil on canvas, signed lower left, depicts a majestic turkey among other gallinaceous animals.
