Rich polychrome and gilded decoration composed of scrolls, ornamental motifs and bird-decorated reserves. The set features three porcelain-covered compartments, including an openwork lid, characteristic of writing sets from the Napoleon III period.
Important gilding work and refined Louis XVI-inspired decoration.
