Pair Of Art-deco Bridge Armchairs

Elegant pair of bridge armchairs in varnished beech and ecru fabric. The wood has been pad varnished and the seats refinished. Under the cushions, the support is made of springs surrounded by fabric reminiscent of Steiner's work. Also, the shape of the armrests is reminiscent of some of Etienne Henri-Martin's chairs, and may have come from an ocean liner built in Saint-Nazaire. The armchairs have compact dimensions and very comfortable seats. The varnish is slightly less glossy than it appears in the photos.
