Arne Jacobsen For Fritz Hansen Series Of 6 Series 7 Chairs (model 3107) Danish Design
Artist: Arne Jacobsen Pour Fritz Hansen
Emblematic chair of 20th-century Scandinavian design, created by Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen. These chairs were produced by the historic Fritz Hansen company in Denmark, as evidenced by the original label and stamp under the seat dating from 1994.One-piece back and seat in die-cast plywood. Finished in beech veneer, revealing the natural grain of the wood.four slim chrome-plated tubular steel legs give the chair a light, airy silhouette.for optimum comfort, each chair is fitted with a seat cover in bluish-grey fabric, providing extra comfort and an elegant contrast of colors. The fabrics are a little worn, with a few small stains, see photos. Wooden structures are sound, chromes retain their shine (some slight traces of oxidation possible on metal, consistent with age). Please note some wear cracks on the plastic covers under the seat (visible on photos), which do not affect the structural solidity of the chairs.
