Porcelain Service From The Empire Period - Early 19th Century
Elegant French Empire white porcelain service with rich gilded decoration, early 19th century. Refined decoration of palmettes, garlands and gilded floral motifs. Very fine workmanship with slender forms and finely worked handles.
The service includes:
a coffee pot: height 29 cm with lid,
a teapot: height 17 cm,
a milk jug: height 18 cm,
a rinsing bowl / bowl.
Very good condition for a piece of this period.
Please note:
a chip on the inside lug of the coffee pot lid (fastening part, hardly visible from the outside),
an original firing defect,
some wear scratches on the bottom of the rinsing bowl.
Beautiful, well-preserved gilding.
