Large Celadon Stoneware Storage Jar - Southeast Asia
Large storage jar in celadon sandstone, Southeast Asia. It was used to preserve foodstuffs - water, grains - and could also be used for fermented preparations.
- South China or Southeast Asia, late 19th - early 20th century.
- Some of these jars have spent several winters outdoors without alteration, but we recommend indoor or sheltered use.
