Kihoa was a Vietnamese artist who was well received in his native country. He graduated from the Vietnam National High Art School in 1951. He also founded the first Vietnamese artists' guild in 1956. He was not well recognized until ten years ago, when a family member sold much of his work outside North Vietnam. He is known for his impressionist style and port subjects. Signed lower right.
