Large late 19th century mahogany middle desk
Opening to 4 drawers on the front, one of which is double, it rests on four columns adorned with bronze rings and linked by an X-shaped brace.
It features a rich ornamentation of chased bronzes, palmettes on the uprights, a large subject representing the chariot of love on each side and lock escutcheons on both sides decorated with swans with spread wings.
Leather-covered top and side pulls ( 2 x 37 cm) and gilded iron vignette.
Small spots of use on the leather.
