Vico magistretti has designed a wide range of luminaires for Artemide, called Omega, based on the principle of an opal glass spere encircled by a ring of the same material. The source, a standard E27 bulb, is thus doubly diffused, contributing to efficient, soft lighting. The Clinio features a well-designed platinum claw with a neat nickel-plated finish and a finishing piece that conceals the mounting screws.
