Louis XV Shepherd's Chair Stamped Sulpice Brizard

A large molded and carved wooden bergère with flowers decor, standing on curved legs. Stamped
by Sulpice Brizard, Parisian cabinetmaker born in 1735, received Maître on February 13, 1762. He worked in his
atelier on rue de Cléry in Paris and was one of the Crown's suppliers, notably for the manufacture
of seats, of which he was a recognized specialist. This shepherdess has been restored, very good condition of the cabinetwork,
the silk upholstery is as new.
