Fireback With A Vase With Handles Standing On A Pedestal 18th Century (92x76 Cm)

Fireback cast in the middle of the 18th century, in perfect condition, in the pure Rococo style, with a vase with handles standing on a pedestal, the body adorned with gadroons, from which blooms a flowering bouquet, flanked by undulating ribbons laden with acanthus. This plate, marked "qvinte" on both sides, indicates the former Quinte forge located not far from Trier between Ehrang and Schweich, near the Moselle river, in Rhineland-Palatinate.
