18ct Gold Art Deco Pendant Set With Red Spinels And Diamonds
This magnificent Art Deco Pendant is adorned with a multitude of Red Spinels and Rose-cut Diamonds. The two opals are most likely paste. The white metal is platinum or possibly white gold, difficult to test.
The Pendentif is not hallmarked, but tests indicate that it is 18-carat yellow gold. It is guaranteed as 18ct Gold
Spinels are often confused with rubies, for example in the British Crown Jewels, the rubies in them are actually spinels. Red Spinel is the rarest and most precious of Spinels.
