Leaning against a vegetated terrace, this sculpture, signed by the artist Paul Gayrard (1807-1855), will delight lovers of horses and hunting. The stallion is harnessed, and a hunting horn and dagger harness hang from the pommel of the saddle. The horse and dog are having fun together. An original 19th-century sculpture, the chasing is precise, highlighting the details of the mane and harness, as well as the morphology of the two animals.
