Henri Autran is a painter from Provence. Born in Marseille, he spent most of his life in the village of Tourtour in the Var department. Green landscapes, village houses and strollers were his favorite subjects. His naive, poetic style is also highly expressionistic, with its strong colors and use of black. His work can be found in numerous private collections and at the Musée Cantini in Marseille.
