A Koro , Japanese Bronze Incense Burner In The Shape Of Lotus And Turtles

The koro is molded in the shape of an eight-petaled lotus flower, resting on a lotus leaf-shaped foot with a wavy rim. The flat lid is openwork with small holes and surmounted by a finial representing two turtles, one sitting on the other's back. Height: 9.5 cm.
