Art Deco Still Life Painting, Flowers Vase Painting, Carnations And Mimosas, Oil. (qf735)

Artist: Maurice Alfred Decamps (1892-1953)

The antique floral still life paintings with carnations and mimosas presented here are a fine oil on canvas painting dating to the early 20th century,

in refined Art Deco style. This antique painting is complemented by an elegant carved and lacquered wooden Montparnasse frame, original from

the early 1900s. The artwork features a balanced floral composition, with a rich bouquet of multicolored flowers arranged in a ceramic vase.

A lavish polychrome floral bouquet, with soft hues of pink, red, white, and yellow, is masterfully arranged in a central vase, standing out against a

neutral and harmonious background. The pictorial style, linked to Art Deco and post-Impressionist taste, is distinguished by its chromatic balance,

gentle brushwork, and careful textural rendering of petals and foliage.
