Denizot Jacques Denizot (1684-1760) - Parisian cabinetmaker. He made furniture in the Regency and Louis XV styles.

Jacques Denizot ran a furniture factory and store on rue de Richelieu, near rue Traversière-Saint-Honoré (now rue Molière), from which his stores had a second exit. From 1738 to 1740, he was a sworn member of his community. He is generally credited with the "I.D" mark, found on early Louis XV and even Regency furniture.
