Description

Brooch from the Art Deco period, circa 1920, featuring a highly structured geometric composition characteristic of the jewelry vocabulary of the interwar period. The design is built around straight lines, rectangular projections and perfect symmetry, giving the whole an architectural reading that is highly representative of the Art Deco aesthetic.

The face is made of platinum and entirely set with old-cut diamonds. Two main diamonds, placed at the ends, structure the brooch and give it a beautiful visual presence. The center is adorned with an old cultured pearl, whose satin sheen contrasts elegantly with the brilliance of the diamonds.

The reverse is in 18-carat yellow gold, in a construction typical of quality jewelry of this period, combining the solidity of gold with the refinement of platinum on the front.

The brooch is preserved in very fine condition, with no noticeable dents or wear. The setting is homogeneous and the clasp is fitted with a safety system. It is presented in its original case.
