While the baguette of this round frame is very classical with its pearled row and braided laurels, its originality is the dominant decoration, which consists of branches with three roses distributed among them. This indicates that we're dealing here with a transitional model inspired by naturalism, which would later give rise to the more elaborate style known as Art Nouveau. An unusual model, but one that's not lacking in charm.
