An exceptional and rare Arts & Crafts sideboard, dating from the mid-19th century, made by the famous cabinetmakers Pratt & Prince of Bradford, Yorkshire. This impressive piece is a testament to the refinement of traditional British craftsmanship.
Made from solid oak with brass fittings, the sideboard is fully inlaid with intricate marquetry, including a striking sunflower motif on the mirrored top section - a true signature of the Arts & Crafts movement.
The top section features an elegantly shaped beveled mirror, topped by a decorative arch (note: the mirror shows signs of age-related wear - see photos).
The base offers excellent functionality with:
3 central drawers
3 small storage drawers
2 large lower drawers on each side
