Highly Refined Neoclassical Gueridon Of The Late 19th Century
realized in richly veneered mahogany and adorned with finely chased and gilded bronzes. The circular dark marble top rests on a belt decorated with a classical repeating motif, punctuated by high-relief rosettes.
The three slender, slightly tapering legs feature vertical veneers and are embellished with gilded bronze appliques depicting floral garlands. At the top, they are surmounted by finely sculpted female busts in gilded bronze, a motif emblematic of the Empire style. The legs are linked by a triangular strut with a central ring, providing both stability and visual lightness.
