These two large Art Nouveau lamps are signed on the terrace
by Auguste Moreau ( 1834- 1917 ) son of Jean Baptiste Moreau and brother
of Hyppolite and Mathurin .
These lamps entitled "Duos" and "Gouttes de rosée" are in regule patina
médaille and have received a gold medal .
The "Duos" lamp features a young woman playing a double flute
for two birds perched on a column , the tree fruits are green
stones , the leaves in painted metal .
The "Gouttes de rosée" lamp features a young woman watering two
birds , under a tree whose orange fruits are painted .
The electricity of these lamps has been redone , the bayonet socket is
original .
