The circular top features a finely executed scene inspired by the Far East, with figures, pagodas and landscapes, testifying to the taste for chinoiserie in the 19th century. The delicately worked decoration offers great finesse of detail and beautiful visual depth.

The tilting top allows the table to be transformed into a vertical decorative element, fully enhancing the composition.
