Mahogany Coal Cabinet, England, Early 20th Century
Mahogany quadripod cabinet comprising an up-and-over door adorned with a carved motif of foliate scrolls and volutes. It opens onto a metal basket, fitted with two handles and a notch for a shovel, originally intended to hold coal. The top is lined with a mirror topped by a small shelf resting on two scalloped feet.
Rays and wear in the wood.
Overall good condition.
