This high-quality piece of furniture, with two doors and three drawers, is made from thuya oak, a precious species particularly sought after in European cabinetmaking for the richness of its veining and the depth of its warm shades.

Its imposing architecture is distinguished by a flowing front with curved projection, refined sculpted decoration and beautiful gilded bronze fittings, handles and keyways, recalling the influences of Dutch Baroque and early Rococo forms still present in interiors of this period.
