Elegant Napoleon III-period presentation bowl, exquisitely combining a finely chased and gilded bronze mount with a richly decorated porcelain bowl.

The beautifully crafted mount rests on an architectural pedestal adorned with classical motifs, resting on four stylized feet. The side handles, with their naturalistic and agitated decoration, bring dynamism and balance to the whole, typical of the eclectic taste of the Second Empire.

The porcelain bowl features a particularly attractive double decoration: on the inside, a delicate bouquet of finely treated polychrome flowers; on the outside, a figurative scene in a cartouche, depicting a young woman in a bucolic landscape, in a romantic spirit, enhanced by rich gilded frames and a deep green background. This decoration is signed Le Duc, a guarantee of quality and craftsmanship.

The ensemble testifies to meticulous workmanship, combining elegance, ornamental richness and harmony of materials, characteristic of decorative objects of the second half of the 19th century.
