Grandma's House. Oil On Cardboard. Country Landscape

The subject of this small painting is a country house, and on the back it says "Grandma's house". The house is somewhat hidden by the very present garden vegetation, trees , bushes and flowers but we notice the gray wooden door typical of modest country houses. There is a great deal of simplicity and charm in this painting.

The brushstroke is free, expressive, with paint applied in small, quick, visible strokes. The whole evokes a painting sur le vif, capturing a moment of calm in a sunny garden.
