Mahogany Three-tray Folding Server, England, Circa 1900

Mahogany three-tray folding server - England,19th century

Elegant mahogany folding server composed of three circular trays arranged in tiers.
The ingenious structure allows the trays to fold completely into the frame, providing a piece of furniture that is both decorative and practical, easily transportable and space-saving when closed.

This type of cabinet was used in English interiors for displaying pastries, fruit or serving tea.

Beautiful workmanship from the late XIXᵉ century or very early XXᵉ century, in the tradition of functional and refined English furniture.
