Importante Dinanderie Art Deco Vase Signed F.j Forshaw
A large Art Deco period vase in silver-plated dinanderie signed F.J. Forshaw, featuring a rich cubist decoration animated by silver-plated geometric lozenges and motifs in different sizes superimposed on a patinated bronze oxide ground. The upper part is highlighted by a square-section beaded neck, while the truncated cone-shaped lower part rests on an elegant circular terrace with a pedestal. Handwritten silver F.J. Forshaw signature on the edge of the foot. Good condition, well-preserved decoration, with the usual few knocks. Dimensions: 31 cm high X 20 cm wide.
