He was a pupil of Cormon and A. Richemond. Richemond.
Co-founder, in 1908, of La Cimaise, a group of painters, sculptors and decorative artists who exhibited together at the Galerie Georges Petit, then at the Galerie Devambez in Paris from 1909 to 1922.
He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français and became a Sociétaire in 1903.
