These oils on canvas, with their original gilded stucco frame
are signed lower left byJules Ribeaucourt , French painter
born in 1866 and died in 1932 .
Appreciated for his marine landscapes, he was appointed official painter of
the navy in 1928.
He received the Silver Medal at the 1932 Salon des Indépendants
He is curator of the Cantini Museum in Marseille
