Important patinated spelter sculpture by Emile Bruchon (1806-1895) with a height including its base of 68 cm, representing a couple embracing, running, protecting themselves from the rain under a shawl. Signed on the base, and bearing a brass plaque with the title of the work and the name of the sculptor. Great finesse and lightness in the treatment of this subject. The sculpture rests on a circular base in red and white marble. Both the spelter and the base are in perfect condition. Weight: 15.6 Kilos
