Messenger Box, 16th Century.
Wrought iron messenger box or church trunk . Good condition . Hole for fixing to a support at the back of the box. The flap hiding the lock entrance was originally blocked by a small knob in the left corner at the base of the box, the mechanism is in working order, but the knob has disappeared.
