A refined ovoid cameo glass vase with a scalloped rim by Daum Nancy, exemplifying the poetic naturalism of French Art Nouveau at its peak.
The elegantly rounded body, perfectly egg-shaped, features an opalescent ground in soft milky pink tones, subtly mottled with blue inclusions that evoke a dreamlike atmosphere. The surface is finely acid-etched and delicately enamelled, depicting graceful sprays of wild bellflowers.
The lower section transitions into a rich gradient of deep cobalt blue and grassy green, creating a strong sense of depth and a landscape-like effect characteristic of the Nancy School around 1900.
The scalloped rim, with its fluid and organic contours, enhances the sculptural quality of the piece and reflects the botanical inspiration central to Art Nouveau design.
