Ayudtthaya Bronze Buddha
Radiating serenity and peace, the Buddha's face is characterized by gracefully elongated, lowered, half-closed eyes, an aquiline nose that harmonizes perfectly with slightly arched eyebrows, an arc-shaped mouth hinting at a subtle smile, and a delicately sculpted chin. His refined features are framed by drooping earlobes. His headdress is composed of tight curls forming an ushnisha. The top is missing. The Buddha is seated in the lotus position and is in bumhisparsa mudra, calling the earth to witness his perfect goodness. At the back, missing pieces have been filled; the head is broken and reattached.
