Amusing Cane Dating From The Late 19th Century
Rare gadget cane known as the "Amusing reluctant beheaded" that slices the throat of the head mounted on a cut-out wheel system.
The blade slides over the edges of the wheel, which hooks onto the top part. The mother-of-pearl-handled knife
is found inside at the bottom of the cane.
Patented in 1898, this cane took the name "Décapité récalcitrant" and was sold at Renaut et Cie in Paris.
