Dormeuses Daisy Diamond Earrings
A charming pair of antique diamond drop earrings (dormeuses), entirely set with diamonds. These earrings, crafted in 18-carat rose gold and platinum, each feature a daisy-shaped cluster set with an old-cut diamond of approximately one carat at the center, surrounded by old-cut diamonds totaling around 1.10 carats. The total diamond weight is therefore approximately 4.20 carats.
The fastening system is typical of the period, with a small, reassuring click when the earrings are closed. They sit perfectly just below the earlobe, as is characteristic of antique dormeuse earrings.
