The upper top is glazed and the lower spacer t ablette is in veneer, encircled by a fine tubular metal gallery, the whole resting on four castors.

Rockhausen was founded in 1866 by Carl Ernst Rockhausen, who opened a joinery workshop in Waldheim (Saxony). Quality and style soon made his company internationally renowned. By the 1930s, the company held some 450 patents.
