Dieulefit 50's Art Deco Tea Set
Dieulefit ceramic tea service from the 1950s is inspired by the elegance and geometric refinement of the Art Deco movement. Comprising thirteen cups, a teapot and a variety of other artistically shaped pieces, it captivates with its bright green glaze and contrasting dark handles, characteristic of Dieulefit faience. Each piece bears witness to time-honored craftsmanship and, although the ensemble may feature elements of diverse origins, it forms a remarkably harmonious whole.
Dieulefit, located in southeastern France, is renowned for its long tradition of ceramics, dating back to Roman times. The town gained particular renown in the 20th century for its refined stoneware and unique glazes.
