Miniature harness, known as a maîtrise, modeled after medieval armor from the 15th - 16th centuries. It is made of iron, fully articulated and assembled with leather fastening straps.
Like a real horseman's armor, this reduced representation is composed of an openwork armet with removable visor, gorgerin, spallières, breastplate, arm and forearm cannons, cubitières, gauntlets, cuissots, grenouillères and solerets.
A so-called two-handed sword and a shield, accompany the harness.
On wooden base.
This miniature is complete, good condition, rust bloom.
