Late 18th Century Pair Of Neoclassical Console Tables
Refined pair of console tables, finely veneered in cherry wood. The console tables are half-moon shaped, with truncated cone-shaped legs typical of the period. Each has two ergonomically designed swivel drawers for storage, which open with lost-wax cast and gilded bronze pulls, featuring rings and lion heads. The tops of both console tables open, creating a circular shape and supported by a removable leg at the back. The open top is covered with paper decorated with floral motifs, transforming the two consoles into two game tables. The consoles are in excellent condition and have been restored. This pair of console tables exudes great taste and refinement, adding a touch of class and elegance to any space. Tuscan manufacture, from the Louis XVI period, around the end of the 18th century.
