Pair Of Church Cruets, France Circa 1900
A pair of silver cruets resting on a pedestal base, ovoid in shape with a neck encircled by a beaded collar and fitted with crook-shaped handles. The spout is wide and curved. They are decorated with egg-and-dart friezes on the pedestals and the shoulders of the body, and engraved on each face with the letters A and V, respectively, allowing them to be distinguished during use.
