A From 1906 onwards, he exhibited every year at the Salon des Artistes Français, becoming a member of its Committee and Jury. became a member of the Committee and Jury. Grand Prix du Portrait was awarded to him in 1933, and a Gold Medal for his talent the following year.
After the 14-18 war, he travelled extensively in Northern Europe, Provence and Italy. He painted landscapes, numerous portraits and many works dedicated to women bathing nymphs, land scape nudes and dancers.
His engraving work is very important, with etchings and dry points. He won a Silver Medal for engraving at the Salon des Artistes des Artistes Français in 1929 and a Gold Medal in 1932.
He livedin New York during the Second World War with his wife, the artist Mme.Lucienne Estival. He is a pupil of M. Bonnat, M. Jules Lefebvre and M. Luc Olivier Merson.
He exhibited at the exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, attended the Académie Jullian.
