This chalice is fully hallmarked with guarantee hallmarks 950/1000 solid silver, 1st cock (between 1798 and 1809).
It is the work of Jean Charles Cahier in its early years (as seen by his goldsmith hallmark, which later evolved).
The false cup is missing, a trefoil is missing from the decoration (see photos)
The gilding on the cup is in excellent condition
